The Edinburgh International Film Festival is to hold the premier of upcoming Disney Pixar movie, Toy Story 3, in an early international premier.

The showing of Toy Story 3 in Edinburgh comes only a day after the film receives its first worldwide premier in America. The showing will take place on the 19th June, which is a Sunday.

Toy Story 3 is the follow up to Toy Story and Toy Story 2 and marks fifteen years since the first graced movie screens worldwide in 1995, where it was met with critical acclaim and is said to have kicked off the whole computer generated graphics craze.

Toy Story 3 is set for a UK release this Summer on the 23rd of July (2010).
