I’m a big fan of Johnny Depp and think he’s a pretty cool actor so I was really looking forward to watching The Tourist, his latest film. He stars with Angelina Jolie, another fine actor who usually appears in great movies.
However, The Tourist is a really big disappointment form the perspectives of the story and acting. I watched the film hoping that something would happen but it just dragged a long at an awkward pace and the acting from both Depp and Jolie wasn’t their best.
I have to agree with Ricky Gervais’ jab at the film when he hosted the The Golden Globes, “It seemed like everything this year was three-dimensional. Except the characters in The Tourist.”

I’m just glad I waited for it to be released on DVD and didn’t pay to watch it at the cinema.
